Healthcare Highlights Republicans Dysfunctions

Republicans gained majority of both the Senate and the House mainly on the back of the promise to reform Obamacare to some degree.  However since 4 of the Republican Senators have publicly denounced the current bill in their house, health care is at a stand still and Republicans only have their selves to blame.

Republicans running in 2016 rallied around Obamacare for good reasons.  A historically unpopular bill perceived as most on both sides as a failure was guaranteed to sway some votes in their favor.  What the Right failed do due though over the course of the last few years as they bashed endlessly the Lefts program was devise one of their own.  They all were on board with the idea of removing Obamacare, but on the idea of what to replace it with the party was fractured beyond what the general public had believed.

Now lacking even the necessary votes to bring the bill to the table for discussion, let alone passing it, shows the underlying disfunction that stems from the heart of the current Republican Party.  While shadowed from the masses for a while, a lack of common ground has destroyed the Right and has forever exposed the truth.  Is this the exposure the Right needed to repair and save the Republican Party? I doubt it.  Lucky for them though they are not totally screwed in 2018.  The Left is equally as fractured,  starting with the slight left and going all the way to the Bernie Sanders socialism left.  This may be all it takes to keep the current broken regime in their for another two years.  Until one of our two major parties is able to repair themselves, or the unthinkable happens and a major third party arises which is becoming more and more possible, it will not really matter which one we put in power because the people of the United States will continue to suffer the burden of their dysfunctions.
